Why a crossing guard will suggest Charlottesville’s City Council install speed cameras near schools

Adrienne Dent, a substitute crossing guard for Charlottesville City Schools, is advocating on behalf of her colleagues for the city to better enforce speed limits around schools. "It is our hope that, when new signs indicating camera enforcement go up, drivers will truly slow down," she writes.
